This policy covers the public website

This policy applies to the Faxton Rentals information website, including the waitlist and contact forms. The Faxton Rentals app is a separate product and has its own privacy notice in the app. This page does not replace that notice.

Information we collect

We collect information you choose to submit:

• Waitlist: your name, email address, role (renter, homeowner, agency or agent), and city.
• Contact form: your name, email address, the subject of your message, and the message itself.

We use a hidden anti-spam field in forms to help filter automated submissions. We do not ask you to enter passwords, payment-card details or government identity numbers on this public website.

How we use your information

We use submitted information to manage the launch waitlist, contact you about launch availability, respond to enquiries, and protect the forms against spam or misuse. We do not sell your personal information, and the website is not designed to serve targeted advertising.

Storage and service providers

Waitlist and contact submissions are stored in Google Firebase Cloud Firestore. Access is controlled through the project's security rules. The site may also request public release information from GitHub so it can display available app downloads; that request is for release metadata, not for sending your form details to GitHub.

Cookies, analytics and external links

The public website is built without advertising trackers or analytics scripts. It links to the separate Faxton Rentals app and other services; those destinations are governed by their own privacy terms. Please review the relevant policy before submitting information there.

Retention and your choices

We keep waitlist and contact information only for as long as it is needed to manage the launch, respond to your request, maintain appropriate records, and address security or legal obligations. You can ask us to access, correct or delete information you submitted through the website. We may need to verify the request before acting on it.

To make a request, use the Contact page and include enough detail for us to identify your submission. Please do not include passwords or other sensitive information in your message.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures intended to protect submitted information. No website or online storage service can be guaranteed completely secure, so please share only what is needed for your enquiry.

We may update this page as the website or its data practices change. The “Last updated” date above shows when this policy was most recently revised.
